About Jon Klein

My career started at KPMG where I was an auditor and aspiring partner. It was a practical introduction to the business world, allowed me to work with clients in numerous industries, including CPG and exposed me to everything from financial statements to manufacturing processes. However, I quickly realized that accounting was not for me. It was time to combine my passion for consumer products, particularly those that I had first-hand experience with as a consumer, with my career. So, I traded in my black wing-tip shoes for a pair of classic yellow Timberland boots. It was from this point that I held numerous sales, marketing and operational roles with brands like Timberland, Bauer Hockey and a NYC based, VC funded start-up in the footwear industry.

When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, doing pretty much anything outdoors, scuba diving and snorkeling in the Caribbean, gardening and playing frisbee with our wonderful Wheaton Terrier. I have lived and worked in London, camped in over a dozen National Parks and traveled to 46 of the 50 US states.
